Last nights rehearsal for the band

All about rehearsal at the Forum in Darlington. Last night, which was the 30th august 2009, the band once again got together for a run through of all the set. Plus more work on two more original numbers! Which are taking shape really well. Its always a bit tough writing a song at home and working out the music on your own, means nothing until getting together in the band and slogging it out to see how it sounds! Luckily, the two new songs are sounding very bluesy(good job really!) and pretty heavy too. Got a more agressive chicago feel to them.
We got down to the Forum, had a bit of a natter, then got down to it, and worked through the whole set. In total near enough two hours worth of music in 19 songs, with just a 5 minute break half way through for an alcohol top up.
It felt real good, we were all totally in the zone, and everyone was at their very best! We’re all pleased with the way the new songs are coming on, and growing stronger week by week. Lets keep it going guys!
